The Schools Project

The UK Onshore Geophysical Library is pleased to be able to offer active support for the UK Schools Project, an innovative initiative by the University of Derby. The scheme provides extremely informative resource materials for the teaching of the principles of seismic interpretation and sub-surface mapping to A-Level students.

A website has been developed which features multiple videos, a detailed case study, a downloadable worksheet and seismic sections to help learn and practice seismic interpretation:
