Library Structure

Board of Trustees:

The activities and policies of the Library are overseen by a Board of Trustees selected to represent the interests of both industry and academia.

The Board of Trustees includes:

Dr. Malcolm Butler - Chairman
Dr Alf Whittaker - formerly of the British Geological Survey
Mr Robin McKie - Star Energy
Dr Chris Elders - Royal Holloway
Mr Mark Abbott - Egdon Resources Ltd.
Mr Eric King - UK Onshore Consultant
BERR Liaison is provided by Mr Geoff Swann

The technical management of the Library is provided by Lynx Information Systems Limited who carry out all aspects of data retrieval, archiving and sales. With a proven track record in providing archives and data management systems, Lynx report directly to a Library Management Committee, chaired by Mr Eric King. The Library Management Committee is responsible for ensuring that the policies of the board are implemented.
